Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the license works for the whole major version (1.x) with every update in it. If there is ever a 2.0, it can be a discounted upgrade; your 1.x keeps working either way.
How do the three computers work?
Each computer you activate uses one of three seats. An app and its included Quartz on the same computer share a seat. To move a license, choose “Deactivate this device” in the app’s settings, or deactivate an old computer on the license page.
Can I try before buying?
Yes. Every app runs with all features for 7 days (Quartz) or 14 days (Basalt, Slate), without an account or an e-mail address. When the trial ends, the app asks for a license key; your files and settings stay as they are.
Do the apps need the internet?
Only to activate, and briefly about once a week to confirm the license. Without a connection they keep working for 45 days. Your media is never uploaded.
What if it is not for me?
Write within 14 days of buying and you get your money back, no questions asked. The license is deactivated with the refund.
Who handles the payment?
Purchases go through a reseller that handles payment, VAT, and invoices as the merchant of record. You receive your license key by e-mail right after paying.
